京都の四季おすすめ観光旅行（Four seasons in KYOTO）

2011年4月4日京都御苑近衛邸跡のしだれ桜の満開の様子です。
この日は快晴でした。青空に桜の薄紅色が映えていました。池には青サギがいました。
On April 4, 2011, it is the scenery in full blossom of the cherry tree in Konoe-tei of Kyoto Gyoen.
It was clear on that day. The thin crimson of the cherry tree shined in a blue sky. There was a blue heron in the pond.

2011年3月27日京都御苑近衛邸跡の枝垂桜の咲き始めの様子です。

環境省のサイトによると、
「御苑北西部のこの場所は、五摂家の一つ、摂政や関白を多く出した近衞家の
邸宅跡で、枝垂れ桜の大木が約３０本植わっています。
御苑で一番早く咲き始める桜で、３月下旬にはほころび始めます。
白、紅などの種類によって花の時期が違うので、全体としては１ヶ月くらい
楽しむことができます。」とあります。

Approximately 30 big trees of the weeping cherry tree are planted here.

京都御苑は京都３大祭りのうちの二つの祭りの行列の出発点となっています。
・5/15葵祭の巡行
（京都御所を出発、下鴨神社を経て上賀茂神社に至る）
・10/22時代祭の巡行
（京都御所を出発、三条大橋を渡って平安神宮に至る）
