2011年2月2日京都壬生寺の風景です。京都御所から見て、壬生寺は京都の裏鬼門、吉田神社は京都の表鬼門にあたるそうです。鬼門は、北東の方位のことで、鬼が出入りする方角であるとして、縁起が悪いとされています。つまり、吉田神社と、壬生寺は京都を守る場所のようです。 Yoshida Shrine and the Mibu temple seem to be places protecting Kyoto. There is a legend called the Kion (unlucky direction) in Kyoto.
2011年2月2日の京都壬生寺の風景です。京都観光ハイヤーのHPによると、「京都では古くより「四方参り」といって北東の吉田神社、南東の伏見稲荷、南西の壬生寺、北西の北野天満宮へお参りして無病息災・招福を願う風習があります。」 この日は、吉田神社と壬生寺の２ヶ所に行ってみました。 On that day I visited two places , Yoshida Shrine and the Mibu temple .
